Radian Car Seat Slim Design

The Radian's slim design fits three across in most vehicles.

We have a 2010 Chrysler minivan, and these car seats are absolutely perfect! Other reviews complain about the weight of them, but honestly they are not that heavy. Perhaps compared to other car seats they are, but in the grand scheme of things they aren’t that bad. No heavier than a 3 year old, which I pick up all the time! The are VERY easy to install with the superLATCH clips, and one of the safest car seats you can buy. Our kids love them, and the four year old says it’s very comfortable. She says the micro-fiber upholstery is “soft and feels good”.

We have not used the seat rear facing yet, but plan to with our new addition in July. I can imagine if you have a smaller car it would be a little tight-fitting; the seat does sit very tall, but it’s a small price to pay for how streamlined it is in every other sense. They look like they fit right in to the car. No excess on the sides or bottom, and they are so easy for even our 2 year old to climb in by herself.

The fold-flat feature is amazing! We have our extra one stored in a closet, and it fits great. We are just so impressed with these seats, and wish we had them from the start. We are sold, and will never get a different brand. I look forward to the day when our kids are all bigger and forward-facing, and we can put them three across in the back of the van. Talk about space saving!

We now own three Sunshine Kids car seats. They are the most narrow that we could find. Very comfortable for my now three year old. We have been taking it on airplanes since he was 20 months.
